Why do I need to register to use HSJ.co.uk?
Users of HSJ.co.uk can set up various services, including e-mail newsletters and job alerts. Asking users to log on to the website using their registration details allows you to view and amend your selections at any time, while ensuring that your details cannot be accessed by other users.
How do I register?/ I cannot register with the HSJ website
Click on Register at the top of the page and complete the registration form. You will be sent an e-mail with your login details - please keep these details safe.
Registration to HSJ.co.uk is free of charge and will give you access to much of the website. However, some areas can only be accessed by subscribers. These pages are clearly marked using the 'S' symbol - you will need to subscribe to visit these pages.

If you have not already registered with hsj.co.uk, you will need to do so before you can log on to the site. If you have forgotten your registration details or the system does not recognise them, a reminder can be e-mailed to you. Click on Forgot my password at the top of the page and enter your e-mail address.

Do I have to log on to HSJ.co.uk each time I visit?
If you tick the Remember Me box when you next log on to HSJ.co.uk, you will not need to enter your details again, unless you clear your cookies cache.
NB - do not tick this box if you share a computer, as other visitors will be able to view your details.
How do I change my registration details, including my e-mail address and password?
To change your registration details, log on to HSJ.co.uk and then click on My Profile at the top of the page. After you have amended your details, you must click on Submit to save these changes.
NB - changing your registration details will not affect the delivery of your printed copies of HSJ. To change your delivery address, please phone 0870 8304958 or visit www.subscription.co.uk/help.

Why have you made some content subscriber-only?
Most of the content which was previously available for free on our website is still available and still free, eg Good Management and Working Lives. We have now created some new content for the website and added more content from the magazine. These pages are an added benefit for our paying subscribers.

Is there going to be an electronic version of the magazine available?
We currently have no plans to launch an electronic version of HSJ magazine.
Please type the topic you are searching for in the box at the top of the page and click on Search. Put as many relevant words as you can in the search box. The default search is to find articles that contain ALL the words you enter.
The search will ignore a selection of the most common words such as "the", "it", "is". To view an article, simply click on the headline. You may need to log in to view subscriber-only content.
If you cannot find the specific article you need, try clicking on Advanced Search to narrow your search results.
I can't find the article I'm looking for.
Articles on HSJ.co.uk date back to June 2006, however non-subscribers can only access articles published up to one month ago. For full access, you will need to subscribe by phoning 0870 8304958 or clicking on the Subscribe link at the top of the page.
Usually you can find articles by searching for them, using the box at the top of the website. Put as many relevant words as you can in the keywords box. Try clicking on Advanced Search to narrow your search results.
If there are missing articles that you feel should be there, please contact us at hsjfeedback@emap.com with as much information as possible. This should include issue, date, title and page number and we will endeavour to get the article online as fast as possible.

As of 5 July 2007, we are no longer sending out the weekly newsletter. Instead, we have a variety of daily, weekly and fortnightly e-mails tailored to meet your information requirements.

If you wish to amend the type of e-mails you receive from HSJ, please log on and click on My Profile at the top of the page.
There is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every e-mail sent by HSJ. Click this link, confirm your e-mail address and you will no longer by sent similar e-mails.

How do I get hold of an old article from the magazine?

Where can I buy a copy on the newsstand?
HSJ is available at selected retailers, but may sell out quickly. You can ask your newsagent to reserve you a copy, or subscribe by phoning 0870 8304958 or click on the Subscribe link at the top of the page.
How do I get permission to reuse material published in HSJ?
HSJ are usually happy to grant permission to reproduce articles without charge providing a prominent acknowledgement is given. Please contact the editor at richard.vize@emap.com for permission to reproduce.
