Warning over cuts to healthcare education budgets

Cuts in healthcare education budgets in the NHS will have a "devastating effect" on the UK's ability to train the next generation of health professionals, health educators have warned.

A report published by the University and College Union revealed many higher education institutions had cut jobs in healthcare training and reduced student intake because of funding difficulties.
