A third of nurses face violence at work, study shows

Research showing UK nurses suffer some of the worst violence in Europe is shocking and shameful, public services union Unison has said.

The study, published in the Journal of Occupational Medicine, showed that a third of UK nurses frequently have to deal with violence at work, with only France reporting more assaults.
