Promote volunteering in the health service, report urges

A report examining volunteering in public services has identified service users as a largely untapped source of volunteers.

Volunteering in the Public Services: health and social care says in-house volunteering hubs should be established in government agencies to encourage volunteering and that employee schemes should become commonplace in health and social care organisations.
