Union welcomes pay deal for managers

Top NHS managers are set to get a 2.2 per cent pay increase this year after the government accepted the recommendations of the senior salaries review body.

The move was welcomed by union Managers in Partnership, but chief executive Jon Restell said the current pay system for very senior mangers needed to be improved.
