Career framework for allied health professionals

A flexible career framework for allied health professionals will help managers develop teams and services to reflect patients' needs, the Department of Health has claimed.

The competency-based framework, due to be launched on the Skills for Health website today, is intended to focus on the activities allied health professionals need to carry out, the standards to which they should perform and the knowledge and skills they need to do their jobs.
