Diabetes UK warns on diagnosis gap

Charity Diabetes UK has warned that NHS services in England are failing to diagnose people with type 2 diabetes.

Comparisons of data from the Yorkshire and Humber Public Health Observatory and the quality and outcomes framework show significant disparities across primary care trusts and a national average for diabetes diagnosis of 84 per cent.
