UK Terminology Centre appoints clinical director

NHS Connecting for Health has appointed James Paton, director of clinical informatics at Queens Hospital, as the clinical director for the UK Terminology Centre.

The new post has been created to ensure SNOMED CT - the standard terminology for the NHS care records service - is responsive to clinical needs.
