AIDS drug recalled

The European Medicines Agency has recalled the drug Viracept due to contamination.
Roche Registration Limited informed the agency that the drug, used to treat HIV-1 infected adults, adolescents and children aged three and older, was contaminated with a harmful substance.
The product has been recalled from EU markets with immediate effect.
