Britain's 'silent' stroke risk
Nearly a quarter of people in the UK are unknowingly at risk of suffering a stroke from undiagnosed high blood pressure, a charity has warned.
The Stroke Association has launched a campaign to encourage people to get their blood pressure checked after a national survey revealed that 30 per cent of people in the South West were unaware that they had high blood pressure, closely followed by East Anglia and the home counties.
