New topics referred for NICE review
The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence is to establish new guidelines on a raft of ailments.
Eight topics in total have been referred to NICE by DoH ministers. They include prevention of venous thromboembolism in medical patients, assessment and management of acute coronary syndromes and neonatal jaundice.
