Call for new topics for national clinical audit

HQIP - Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership

Proposals are invited for new topics for national clinical audits to be commissioned by the Department of Health through HQIP in 2011, as part of HQIP’s National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcome Programme (NCAPOP).

Proposed audits should be expected to have significant impact at an individual and care systems level, on the quality and consistency of health or social care provided. Projects should cover all providers of that area of care in England, and there may be scope to extend to other areas of the United Kingdom subject to negotiation with the devolved administrations.

Application is via the New Topics Proposal Form which is available on www.hqip.org.uk/ncapop-new-topic-proposals/

Topic proposals must be accompanied by letters of ‘in principle’ engagement by key future stakeholders, including relevant professional bodies and patient groups.

The deadline for submission is Noon on Tuesday, 3rd May 2011.

For further information, please email newtopics11enq@hqip.org.uk

Applications will be received in electronic form at nenewtopics11@hqip.org.uk
