I am a self employed Development Consultant with 35 years experience in clinical nursing practice, health and social care workforce development and project and programme management at local, regional and national levels.
I have worked extensively with NHS and Social care teams on a wide range of projects and assignments aimed at improving services and developing the skills of the workforce that deliver them. With knowledge and experience in improvement tools and techniques, and a specialism in using a competence based approach to workforce development , I am passionate about about sharing my experience with others so that they are equipped to constantly improve the health, and health experiences, of patients and the public.
Able to see the bigger picture, my strengths lay in supporting clients to connect the actions that are being taken on the ground with the direction of health policy and strategy.
