Dawn Dowding

Dawn Dowding is a registered nurse with a PhD in nursing and psychology. In the UK she is a senior lecturer at the Hull York Medical School and Department of Health Sciences, University of York. She teaches and researches healthcare decision making. For her Harkness Fellowship she is based at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland California.
Established by the Commonwealth Fund and co-funded by the Nuffield Trust, Harkness Fellowships allow mid-career professionals to research health policy in the US.
