NHS Ealing HR & Development Services provides a dedicated service to NHS organisations and Independent Health contractors within London. As an NHS Trust this also places us in a good position to understand the issues and challenges that our clients may experience and enables us to provide comprehensive and cost effective solutions.

Through our customer-focused and committed HR & Development Teams, we are able to create service models which fit our clients business and culture, thus providing a seamless service for both our clients and their staff.

All services are underpinned by quality assured processes, which are monitored through auditing, contractual service level agreements, key performance indicators and continuous investment in Staff, IT and Management Systems. This Quality Assured Framework provides clients with the confidence that a robust and excellent service will be delivered.

Our core services revolve around a client-focused contact centre facilitating transactional support and advice services on behalf of HR and Learning & Development. This service is also supported by an innovative intranet based HR and Learning & Development system and toolkit which provides online support to clients and their staff.

Human Resource

HR Operations

The HR Operations team leads on the delivery of key employee relations services including managing organisational change, sickness absence management and policy development as well as professional advice, guidance and management support.

The team is highly skilled and experienced in reaching successful outcomes in a range of people management situations. We will support and guide managers through managing formal and informal procedures regarding issues such as disciplines. grievance or harassment.

The team can deliver development packages tailored to organisational needs and aspirations, around managing absence and handling discipline and grievance matters. We can also deliver contractual and best practice employment policies and procedures to ensure legislative compliance and organisational good practice.

 

HR Resourcing

The Resourcing Team has many years experience in transactional HR. NHS Ealing was part of one of the early waves in the implementation of Electronic Staff Record System (ESR) and has made many recommendations in developing systems such as E-Recruitment.

The Resourcing Teams current remit spans the areas of

- Job Evaluation,
- Recruitment
- Transactional HR
- Smartcards
- Workforce Reporting.

The team is flexible and adaptable to the changing circumstances or needs of clients, we see our role as working with managers to achieve service needs. We also want to develop our service at every opportunity whether by streamlining processes or by the introduction of/or expansion in use of technology.

Learning and Development Services

Our Learning and Development services service is built on our commitment to life long learning and a belief in equality of access for all staff to learning and development opportunities. A robust quality assurance framework underpins all our services. The main building blocks, which make our service unique and excellent includes:
