Labour cling onto Tooting after trust chair criticises Tory candidate

Sadiq Khan has retained Tooting for Labour.

During the campaign, the Mirror reported that St George’s Healthcare Trust chair Naaz Coker wrote a letter in 2008 to Conservative candidate Mark Clarke over claims he had made about MRSA infections at the hospital.

The letter reportedly said concerns over the story had been raised with the board by patients and staff.
