NHS Camden (coordinating PCT) invites expressions of interest from all suitably qualifi ed and experienced healthcare providers (including general practitioners, other clinical providers, social enterprises, third sector organisations and other providers) to provide Out of Hours Urgent Care Services to a geographic area that could include NHS Camden, NHS Islington, NHS City and Hackney and NHS Haringey.

The service elements to be commissioned are:
- Out of Hours assessment and advice services via a tele phone assessment service;
- Face-to-face consultation and treatment at designated treatment centres; and
- An Out of Hours home visiting service which receives its workload from the telephone assessment service.

The Out of Hours service would be provided from premises located across the PCT areas. The service provided will need to refl ect the diverse needs across a total GP registered population of up to 881,000 people. The
service will also need to take into account the proposed changes in borough-based PCT urgent care strategies over the lifetime of the contract.
