Individual programme or joint programme proposals are sought from experts in the fi eld of Leadership Development to become a partner with the developing NHS North East Leadership Academy.

The proposal is to provide blended learning opportunities to develop leadership skills and interventions within three separate leadership programmes across the north east of England.The intention of these proposals is to maintain a pipeline of talented staff that are able to optimise their leadership potential, engage in service transformation and achieve their career aspirations in addition to supporting NHS succession planning.

The three programmes are :
o Emerging leaders
o Aspiring leaders
o Clinical Fellowships

This provision is part of a systematic development pathway approach to leadership development and talent management. Furthermore it is integral to the newly developing NHS NE Leadership Academy, which has a specific focus of ensuring that we have the right staff at the right place at the right time to deliver the NHS NE vision.
