NHS BERKSHIRE - Berkshire West PCT invites expressions of interest (EOI)

Berkshire West PCT invites expressions of interest (EOI) from all suitably qualified experienced health care providers to deliver high quality primary medical services for 8,300 patients currently registered at the Priory Avenue Surgery in Caversham, Reading, Berkshire. The current GP Providers will cease to provide services in April 2013 and the PCT wants to secure a smooth transition to a new provider at the same time.

The successful Provider will demonstrate an ability and commitment to:

• Provide high quality primary medical services which are responsive to the health needs of the population and help support continuous improvements in health outcomes
• Achieve the local targets/KPIs specified in the contract
• Constantly strive for quality improvement
• Support the NHS Commissioning Board deliver its strategic priorities for primary care
• Support the CCG to develop a primary medical quality improvement strategy for the practices in its area
