Wandsworth Weight Management Service

NHS Wandsworth wishes to invite providers of good financial standing to express an interest in the provision of obesity prevention and weight management services to children, families & adolescents (2-17 years), and weight management services to overweight or obese adults.

This will include the delivery of evidence-based weight management programmes within the community, school and early years settings with strong links to other community services (including school nursing, health visiting & community & hospitalbased dietetic teams).

The contract will consist of four Lots: (A) Early Years Programme; (B) Schools Programme; (C) Staff Training Programme; and (D) Adult Weight Management Programme. The contract is expected to last for 3 years and commence on 01 April 2012. The estimated contract value over the 3 years is £1,770,000.
