Hi, It is interesting to note that the proposed idea to use another effectively private GP to perform the work test appears to put forward as a new idea. I do not understand how this can be as I have been suffering these tests for over 15 years! In addition, how is a GP who is not in actual practice able to override a consultants opinion when he informs me that I should not work? This has indeed happened to me in the past, despite the consultant sending a letter explaining this to the "GP"? Martin Shaw. Still suffering from Clinical Depression after 20 years.
