Clinician involvement is key - but keep an eye on the cost

Most health organisations will currently be completing contract negotiations, or in the midst of stalemate. Internally many will be landing annual plans, budgets and starting out on the journey towards a “successful” Quarter One – the solid foundation so many never achieve meaning a pressurised rush through Q3 and Q4 – just when winter pressures are so intense.  Why do we have such issues - surely we can learn from one year to the next?
