It doesn't take much innovation to provide healthcare at costs less than the NHS.
The NHS might do 2-3 cases per session whereas ISTC's were setting up a production line.
What we talking about is the comparison between Longbridge and the japanese car makers. Of course the doctors dont like competition and will resist the multinationals showing them how it is done- but the inevitable happens in a free market.
And dont bleat on about new patterns of healthcare- what this means is paying GP's to deny healthcare.
