I suggest that elected members could benefit from looking at the impact of centralisation of stroke services in London.

It seems that they have found a way to pursuade local communities that people who are in danger of a 'brain attack' should travel further for a better outcome.

As a result many more people have survived with less disability than before.

Let's keep patients needs at the centre of our thinking. In this regard CCG's will need to find a way to connect MP's to the truth and help them understand that it is the outcome that matters.
