Could we please have an organisational map or chart that shows how CCGs are supposed to relate to these proposed AHSNs and the following: Commissioning Support Units, Clinical Senates, Health and Well-being Boards, Health Scrutiny and Overview Committees, Foundation Trusts and their boards of governors, Universities, LATs, NHS Commissioning Board, Public Health England, CQC, Monitor, etc?
To whom are the CCG accountable officers actually accountable for important intangibles like a culture of innovation which AHSNs are supposed to foster?
As a way forward, might it be sensible to have AHSNs represented on Health and Well-being Boards since the latter are supposed to be the single local accountable forum for integrating the ideas, actions and evaluation of all the interested parties?
Otherwise their input could get lost or diffused in the complexity and demands of all the other networks.
