- give potential providers a greater understanding of the North East Equitable Access Programme
- identify the aims, objectives, procurement strategy and timescales of the programme
- impart knowledge to potential providers about the experiences of undertaking bids and gain a clear understanding of the issues that they may encounter when submitting bids.
The commissioning PCTs are: County Durham, Darlington, Gateshead, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, North Tees, North Tyneside, Northumberland, Redcar and Cleveland, South Tyneside and Sunderland.
