South Birmingham PCT has a strong commitment to commissioning innovative, high quality healthcare services for its diverse population of 380,000.
We are looking to appoint a suitably experienced provider to work in partnership with the PCT to ensure provision of a high-quality multi site pulmonary rehabilitation service. The community pulmonary rehabilitation programme will include multi-component, multi-disciplinary interventions, which are tailored to the individual patient's needs. This programme will involve patients attending a locally provided community service.
If you require any further information on the service required, please contact Malcolm Thomson on 0121 472 8720.
Expressions of interest must be sent or delivered in an envelope marked "Private and Confidential" to: David Lewis, Head of Procurement, Birmingham Primary Care Shared Services Agency, Third Floor, Waterlinks House, Richard Street, Birmingham B7 4AA or e-mailed to him at david.lewis@bpcssa.nhs.uk by 5.00pm on Friday 25 April 2008.
A Pre-Qualification Questionnaire will be sent to all the organisations that express an interest by this date. Subject to concluding a satisfactory contract, the service is expected to commence no later than 1 December 2008.
