Bristol PCT invites expressions of interest from organisations, partnerships or consortia wishing to tender for the provision of a city-wide Primary Care Mental Health Service, delivering psychological therapy through a stepped care model.
The service will be directed at providing evidence based and time limited psychological or talking therapies for patients with mild to moderate or severe common mental health conditions.
The Bristol population is approximately 400,000, of which 10% are from Black and Minority Ethnic communities. Bristol has proportionately fewer over 65 year olds compared to England as a whole, but more young people aged 20-30. Our vision is for a service that is based in primary care and is responsive to the local needs of our diverse population. Interested organisations must be aware that TUPE regulations may apply.
To register an Expression of Interest please contact Amy Connelly, email: amy.connelly@bristolpct.nhs.uk by noon on 30 April 2008.
Invitation to Tender packs will be sent 1 May 2008.
