WE ARE INVITING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR THE PROVISION OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SERVICES TO THE TRUST.

Our Trust provides a comprehensive mental healthcare service for Birmingham and Solihull residents, and to communities in the West Midlands and beyond. We employ approximately 4,000 staff, making us one of the largest and most complex Mental Health NHS Trusts in the country.

We serve a culturally and socially diverse population, which is reflected in our workforce. We are seeking expressions of interest to provide a high quality and comprehensive Occupational Health Service which supports our commitment to health and safety, the prevention of occupational health risks, the management of physical and mental health issues amongst our staff and assists in providing an effective and responsive health and well being programme for staff.

We will also be looking to our Occupational Health Service to provide specialist advice and support which helps underpin our commitment to enabling people with mental illness and mental health issues to gain and sustain employment with us.

A single supplier currently provides this service and it is expected that the contract will commence during October 2008.
