INVITATION TO TENDER - Provision of a Host Organisation Service for a Local Involvement Network (LINk)

Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council invites organisations to tender for the provision of the above service within the Borough of Knowsley. The host organisation will be responsible for the establishment, maintenance and support of a LINk in Knowsley to carry out the following activities:

- promoting and supporting the involvement of members of the public in local health and social care services;
- obtaining the views of local people about their needs for, and their experiences of local health and social care services;
- enabling people to monitor and review the commissioning and provision of health and social care services; and
- making its views known to the people responsible for commissioning, providing, managing and scrutinising those services as well as making reports and recommendations about how health and social care services could be improved.

The contract will be for a period of three years, with options to extend for two further periods of 12 months each, subject to satisfactory performance.
