Invitation to tender for specialist mental health provision Service delivery until 31st December 2010.

The Condition Management Programme (CMP) is a Government funded initiative to help people with longer-term health problems to return to work. Derbyshire's programme has been running since 2004, and includes specialist services for people with mental health difficulties. We are inviting tenders to deliver our CMP mental health assessment, case management and one to one interventions across the County of Derbyshire.

The successful provider will be able to deal with 90 new referrals a month, with assessment, final review and approximately six sessions with each service user. The interventions will be based on a Cognitive-Behavioural approach, with a particular emphasis on self-management and employment. Clinical staff will be professionally qualified in mental health and/or Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. The successful contractor will be responsible for providing suitable premises accessible to service users across Derbyshire.

Strong quality assurance, employment, information and management practices will be required and the ability to work closely with partner organisations is essential. Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited, to be received no later than 12 noon on Thursday 7th August 2008. Tender information packs will be issued to all those expressing an interest. The Pre Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) will then need to be fully completed and received by the Returning Officer by no later than 12 noon on Wednesday 27th August 2008.

Only those applicants successful at the PQQ stage will be invited to submit their full tender proposal.
