Expressions of Interest are being invited by Greater Manchester Commissioning Business Service (CBS) on behalf of Heywood, Middleton & Rochdale Primary Care Trust (PCT) for the provision of an Electronic Record Management System.
The PCT wishes to implement a system for the management of electronic documents, by converting hard copy inactive health records into a digital format for subsequent storage and management in a document imaging system. Approximately 5 million of these documents are currently stored at approximately 50 locations across the borough. Further details will be provided to those suppliers who express an interest in the procurement.
It is anticipated that the contract will commence in November 2008.
