Primary Care Mental Health Service
Heart of Birmingham teaching Primary Care Trust is seeking opportunities to work in partnership with an NHS, Private sector or voluntary provider to take on the existing NHS Graduate Primary Care Mental Health Service. The successful provider will be expected to deliver a culturally sensitive model that demonstrates improving access to psychological therapies and a stepped care approach to Nice guidance. This will be key to underpinning our service redesign for mental health and maintaining people within primary care. The provider will need to evidence how its Model would ensure that only appropriate referrals go to specialist secondary care services.
