FINANCE: NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly suffered “teething problems” after it transferred its financial processing and ledger operations to NHS Shared Business Service.

A report to January’s board said the transfer, which took place in October, affected the primary care trust’s ability to “maintain our usual high level of prompt payments in the first few months”.

It continued: “Actions are in place to ensure that our performance is returned to its previous standard as soon as possible.”
