WORKFORCE: Sixty nine community nurses have been recruited to work in North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership Trust has recruited 29 nurses to work in Stoke with 37 working in Newcastle-under-Lyme and the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Dr David Hughes, clinical accountable officer for North Staffordshire Clinical Commissioning Group said: “We have invested in community nursing to ensure the service remains of the highest quality and responsive to the needs of patients and carers while providing the best experience of health care. We will continue to work with the Partnership Trust colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.”
