Given the government’s new advice on social distancing, we have taken the decision to cancel this event, as we feel it would not be prudent for panellists and others to travel into the studio for the webinar recording. HSJ and Carnall Farrar, who kindly partnered with us on this event, also felt the planned discussion topic was no longer relevant or appropriate given the enormous and unprecedented challenges you and your colleagues are facing with the fast moving situation with covid-19.
We hope to run the webinar at some point in the future.
The chief executive of Kettering General Hospital Foundation Trust and the deputy director of research at think tank the Nuffield Trust are to speak at a forthcoming HSJ webinar.
Simon Weldon and Sarah Scobie will be discussing how to best understand the root causes of accident and emergency challenges. The webinar, taking place at 10.30am on 19 March, is being run in association with consultancy Carnall Farrar, whose managing partner Anne Rainsberry will also be on the panel.
The discussion will be chaired by HSJ bureau chief James Illman.
