The chief executive of a trust recognised as pioneering possible applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare recently spoke at an HSJ roundtable on the topic.

David Probert, chief executive of Moorfields Eye Hospital Foundation Trust, gave his thoughts on whether AI can help the NHS turn data into insight. He was joined by Natalie Banner, lead for the Understanding Patient Data initiative hosted by Wellcome, and by Lauren Bevan, head of healthcare at BJSS, which supported the event.
