STRUCTURE: The south west London PCT cluster is delaying until May the panel meeting at which a 60-strong group will examine the quality aspects of a proposed service reconfiguration for the area.
The panel had been due to meet on Thursday and to have reported their findings within a day.
A spokesman for the cluster said: “The panel is now meeting in May on the advice of the joint health overview and scrutiny committees, who recommended that options agreed by the scoring panel should be released at the same time as the financial scoring.”
The panel meeting forms part of the Better Services Better Value review, which is looking at the future shape of planned care; urgent, unscheduled and emergency care; maternity and newborn care; children’s services; long-term conditions; and end of life care.
The review covers Kingston, Wandsworth, Croydon, Richmond, Sutton and Merton.
