STRUCTURE: The primary care trust is seeking views from people in its area on how the local NHS could be developed and improved.

The PCT is inviting people that live in Nottingham City or are registered with a Nottingham City GP to join its “Citizen’s Health Panel”.

Panel members receive around four questionnaires each year, and there are also other opportunities to get involved in, such as focus groups to discuss specific issues.

By capturing local views, the PCT says it is able to make better decisions about planning and commissioning health services.

NHS Nottingham City assistant director for quality Sally Seeley said: “We need and really value the opinions of local people and your comments and suggestions are vital in helping shape local NHS services in the future.
