WORKFORCE: Dr Stephen Richards has been elected to lead the Oxfordshire GP Consortium with 94 per cent of the vote.
Out of the county’s 83 practices, 71 voted in the selection process which was overseen and administered by the Local Medical Committee (LMC)

He will work closely with the GP representatives of the six localities and senior NHS managers to lead the design and implementation of The Oxfordshire GP Consortium (OGPC).
Dr Richards, is currently a partner in the Goring and Woodcote practice where he has been working for 22 years. He intends to continue with this on a part-time basis.
