PERFORMANCE: Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals Trust was rated worse than last year in six out of ten of the national inpatient survey indicators.

The survey, carried out for the Care Quality Commission by the Picker Institute, found the east London trust was rated “worse” than last year in six of the 10 categories: “overall views and experiences”, “leaving hospital”, “care and treatment”, “nurses”, “the hospital and ward” and “The emergency/A&E department”.
