WORKFORCE: GP Dr Paul Hassan, has been appointed as the chief clinical officer designate for Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group.
He has been chair of the clinical executive committee at NHS Bedfordshire and practises in Dunstable.
Dr Hassan said: “I am thrilled to be taking up such an exciting opportunity. It is a great privilege to lead local clinicians to improve the quality of health care for the residents of Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire in such financially challenging times.”
