PERFORMANCE: All providers serving the Birmingham and Solihull primary care trust cluster failed to hit the required standard for ambulance handover times.
Cluster board papers said that no providers managed to have 90 per cent of all handovers completed within 30 minutes.
The papers say: “Discussions have been taking place between providers and the West Midlands Ambulance Service Trust regarding improving the quality of recording turnaround times, and actions that can be taken to improve them including dividing the target into two 15 minute periods.”
