WORKFORCE: The foundation plans to cut the equivalent of 675 whole-time posts over the next three years, its newly published three-year plan shows.

The plan lists headcount reduction among the key workforce priorities for BTHFT over the period – it is aiming for a reduction of 325 whole-time equivalent posts in 2011-12, 200 in 2012-13, and 150 in 2013-14.

It indicates that these reductions will be accomplished through a mixture of natural staff turnover, reducing the use of bank and agency staff, termination of fixed-term contracts, and voluntary and compulsory redundancies.
