STRUCTURE: Buckinghamshire Healthcare is “reconsidering” its timetable for becoming a foundation trust due to “financial pressures”.
January board papers for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire primary care trust cluster say:
“As a result of the financial pressures facing Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust and the delay in the consultation process against the original timeframe, the trust is reconsidering the timetable for their foundation trust application.
“This is presently being discussed with the strategic health authority and the PCT cluster.”
A “mini board to board” meeting between the cluster and the trust was planned for 31 January.
