FINANCE: Overperformance on contracts, savings from unfilled vacancies and some non-recurrent income has meant that Calderdale and Huddersfield Foundation Trust had a £4.9m surplus at the end of month 10, against a plan of £3.3m. The trust is now predicting it will end the year with a surplus of £3.4m, £0.4m ahead of plan.

This is a reversal of the position earlier in the financial year when the trust was behind on its planned surplus.
