FINANCE: An anonymous donor has offered Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust £300,000 funding for adult autism services over a three year period.

The trust is already in discussions with the National Autism Society about how the two organisations can work together to deliver services, and local PCTs have commissioned a diagnosis only adult autism service.

‘The trust is hopeful that it will be able to meet the criteria for this funding and also that it will increase in value over time,’ a report to the board said.  The stipulations for the donation include naming the building where the service is delivered after the donor’s wife in perpetuity.
