PERFORMANCE: Nearly 400 patients in Cambridgeshire waited more than six weeks for diagnostic procedures in the first half of this financial year - against a zero target.

NHS Cambridgeshire heard there had been 46 breaches of the target in September - making a total of 386 for the year so far.

Acute trusts have responded by recruiting additional specialist staff, putting on extra sessions and looking at moving some work into the independent sector.
