Suffolk County Council has awarded Care UK a contract to develop 10 new care homes and 10 new wellbeing centres.

The council’s cabinet approved the contract this week paving the way for Care UK to invest £60m into the homes and wellbeing centres.

Care UK said the deal “would help to meet the increasing demand for specialist residential and nursing care for frail older people, including the growing Suffolk population with dementia, as well as additional day care services”.
