COMMERCIAL: Central London Community Health Trust has taken over the provision of adult community health services in Harrow borough.
The organisation took over the services, which include community nursing, diabetes, specialist nursing , podiatry and rehabilitation services, at the start of this month.
The trust started operating in 2011 under the Transforming Community Services programme, which saw the provider arms of primary care trusts spun out from their commissioning function. It provides community services in the inner London boroughs of Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster and Hammersmith and Fuham.
It recently won the contract for community work at another outer London borough, Merton, taking the work off Royal Marsden Foundation Trust.
